About The Position

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. This role acts as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. Their core objective is to analyze current legacy systems, identify inefficiencies, and translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions that improve and meet program goals. The role involves working with the program to document requirements that can be shared with a vendor for solution provision. This role is needed until the end of the project to ensure stakeholder satisfaction with the implemented solution.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Min 5 years of experience, served as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (i.e., Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain, etc.).
  • Strong experience as a Data Analyst in analyzing raw data.
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in requirements gathering.
  • Understanding of technology.
  • Analyze current legacy system identify any inefficiencies, and translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions that improve and meets program goal.
  • Work with the program/project teams to document the requirements and UAT.

Nice To Haves

  • Any project management experience with PMP are a huge plus.
  • Translate abstract ideas to business requirements in a structured way.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys to discover business needs.
  • Translate abstract ideas into structured Business Requirement Documents (BRD and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
  • Create use cases to visually map current vs future state.
  • Negotiate requirement trade-offs and manage expectations regarding project timelines and costs.
  • Create test cases, and ensure the final product meets original requirements.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between users, technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Analyze current legacy systems and identify inefficiencies.
  • Translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions.
  • Document requirements for vendor selection and solution provision.
  • Ensure the solution is implemented to the stakeholder's satisfaction.
