About The Position

Badger Meter is hiring a Business Analyst and Self-Service Adoption Intern to support its Customer Care and Support team. This onsite internship will be based at the company's Milwaukee Headquarters next summer and is 40 hours per week. The intern will contribute to project-based work with defined deliverables and receive hands-on learning, ongoing coaching, and mentorship. The internship program also includes professional development, community outreach, and a final capstone project.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in analytics, AI, process improvement, and user experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.

• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization principles.

Responsibilities

• Support cycle time reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data to identify efficiency and workflow improvement opportunities.
• Drive MBE/PC portal adoption through analytics and user-focused enhancements.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback to improve portal functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects.
• Track and report key performance metrics related to process efficiency and portal usage.
