This role involves working as part of a quality team to continuously identify, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate interventions for quality improvement. It includes completing program and initiative evaluations, gathering and synthesizing research, industry information, and BCBSA resources to apply best practices to health care quality improvement strategies. The position requires conducting data analysis to support projects and interventions, including data gathering, analysis, and presenting recommendations. The role also encompasses program and project management, assisting in developing project plans, facilitating full project documentation and reporting, organizing and leading project meetings, and working with cross-departmental teams for communication. Additionally, it involves cross-functional integration and communication with HMSA departments and external partners, and supporting the Quality Improvement Program by completing work and documentation for the annual Quality Improvement Evaluation and Workplan, required reporting, and coordinating medical record reviews.
