About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a proactive, tech-savvy Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical execution teams. The role gathers, analyzes, and translates complex product requirements into configuration solutions in Oracle CPQ, while using modern AI tools to streamline requirements drafting, test-case generation, workflow optimization, and data analysis. The Product Orderability team works across Go-To-Market Strategy, Product Management, and Sales to support end-to-end orderability workflows across product lines and maintain CPQ configuration stability. The position helps simplify configuration rules, maintain platform stability, and accelerate New Product Introduction cycles so global sales teams can quote and order solutions effectively. The role partners with cross-functional teams, developers, factories, and supply chain colleagues to ensure product configurations are accurate, orderable, and aligned with established standards. It also supports BOM and offering simplification, portfolio optimization, quality assurance, and Agile delivery of ERP/CRM implementations. U.S. work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship is required. Travel is under 10%; relocation is not provided.

Requirements

Minimum 1–3 years of strong experience in a Business Analyst role gathering requirements, defining scope, and creating functional specifications for Oracle CPQ.
Hands-on experience using modern AI tools, such as Google Gemini, for writing requirements, business process modeling, or generating test scripts.
Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (Oracle ERP) and rule-based configuration models.
Experience creating business process models to describe functional business requirements.
Excellent requirements-gathering, analytical problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S.; employer work permit sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

Technical understanding or hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or scripting languages such as Google Apps Script, BML, or Python.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Applications such as Oracle EBS, Oracle PLM, or Oracle CPQ Admin features.
Background or knowledge in the telecommunications domain.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly, become an operational subject matter expert, solve complex business problems, and teach or mentor others.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product Owners, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and factory teams to define product scope and translate business requirements into detailed Oracle CPQ technical specifications.
Use generative AI tools such as Google Gemini to accelerate business documentation, draft process models, analyze data sets, and create test scenarios.
Ensure Oracle CPQ product configurations are defect-free, orderable, and compliant with Orderability UX standards.
Simplify Bills of Materials, rule logic, and offering structures in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.
Drive SKU reduction, product cancellation analysis, and offer/catalog simplification activities.
Work with developers to clarify business requirements, answer functional questions, and validate and test completed development.
Coordinate with factory and supply chain teams to verify configuration rules and help prevent Sales Order fulfillment errors.
Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts to verify items, Bills of Materials, and configuration rule changes.
Gather and analyze requirements and deliver ERP/CRM implementations in an Agile team environment.
