About The Position

This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders in manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and IT to understand operational challenges and business goals. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements, facilitating workshops, and developing key documentation such as BRDs, functional requirements, use cases, process maps, and user stories. The position also focuses on analyzing existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation, leading process mapping and gap analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely with IT teams and vendors to design and implement solutions, support system implementations and upgrades, define business rules and reporting needs, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, the role involves supporting organizational change management, developing training materials, and facilitating end-user training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, MES/MOM, ERP, or quality systems.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, and business process improvement.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Experience developing and executing UAT plans and test scenarios.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, Visio, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to understand operational challenges, business goals, and improvement opportunities.
  • Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
  • Develop BRDs, functional requirements, use cases, process maps, and user stories.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization.
  • Lead process mapping and gap analysis across manufacturing, quality, and support functions.
  • Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives and track measurable business outcomes.
  • Work closely with IT teams, software vendors, and project teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including solution reviews and deployment planning.
  • Define business rules, workflows, reports, dashboards, and data requirements.
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and test scenarios.
  • Coordinate testing with business users and project teams and verify solutions against business requirements.
  • Support organizational change management and user adoption for new systems and processes.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and communications and facilitate end-user training.
