About The Position

The Business Analyst III provides analytical and project management support to various corporate and business line strategic initiatives according to established Company procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines. This role works independently but receives assistance/coaching from more senior levels and coaches other team members, as appropriate, within their area of expertise. The Business Analyst III identifies, develops, and maintains key linkages with business partners including retail product management, retail distribution, commercial banking, support services, and North American business partners such as TD Wealth Management, TD Ameritrade, and TD Insurance. They help senior management by giving insightful and pro-active reporting and analysis on various corporate and business line initiatives, and work with line of business team members/resources. This role resolves issues and problems by conferring with staff, management, other internal departments, and outside contacts as necessary, and works cross-functionally as required to drive strategic initiatives and improve processes. The Business Analyst III adds financial value to the company by analyzing company data to identify and recommend initiatives that positively and materially impact the financial results of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
  • 3+ Years of related experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Exceptional active listening skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future need for TD sponsorship

  • Possess excellent data analysis skills, is able to analyze and interpret complex dataset.
  • Derive insights from large datasets.
  • Should have excellent SQL skills.
  • Has experience working in AML Functions.
