The analyst will collect business use cases, research and evaluate opportunities to help Amazon leverage its data to support business functions through complicated mathematical modeling. Responsibilities include analyzing forecast and metrics data, automating reports for promotional and project launch campaigns, and utilizing database technologies (SQL, ETL, Oracle) to design, develop, and evaluate innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports for campaign targeting and optimization. The role involves transforming complex business problems into mathematical models and providing data-driven solutions, performing statistical analysis (clustering, cross-session and panel data regression using R, SAS, STATA, and SPSS), and establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation.
