Business Analyst II, Emerging Technology
About The Position
Our client is seeking two experienced Business Analysts to support high-impact Emerging Technology initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional with strong business analysis expertise, process improvement capabilities, and experience supporting Agile project environments. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather requirements, document business processes, support use case development, and help drive technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related technology field at a senior level
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise-level technology initiatives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of working knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and practices
- 2+ years of experience developing and documenting use cases
- 2+ years of experience with process documentation and process mapping
- Experience working within government, public sector, or large enterprise environments preferred
- Strong proficiency with documentation tools, reporting tools, and project collaboration platforms
Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes, workflows, and operational needs to identify improvement opportunities
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from internal stakeholders
- Develop detailed use cases, user stories, business process flows, and functional documentation
- Support Agile project teams by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder collaboration
- Create and maintain process documentation, workflow maps, and gap analysis reports
- Facilitate meetings with business units, technical teams, and leadership to ensure project alignment
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams
- Assist in testing validation, UAT support, and implementation readiness activities
- Monitor project progress and communicate risks, issues, and recommendations to leadership
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
