About The Position

This role offers an opportunity for an analytically minded Policy Analyst to support a Public Policy team by monitoring global political, regulatory, and legislative developments and translating them into clear, actionable insights for the business. The position is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of experience who want to deepen their expertise in public policy, regulatory analysis, and government affairs while contributing to high-impact analysis, transparency reporting, and continuous improvement of monitoring systems and analytical tools.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in public policy, regulatory analysis, government affairs, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and policy information and draw clear, well-supported conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and structured analysis for different audiences.
  • Demonstrated interest in global political and regulatory developments and their implications for businesses and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work directly with source materials, reporting requirements, and policy texts to produce accurate analysis.
  • Experience or knowledge in public policy analysis, including assessment of legislative and regulatory proposals.
  • Understanding of regulatory affairs, regulatory processes, and regulatory and compliance considerations.
  • Experience or exposure to government affairs and advocacy work.
  • Experience or strong interest in legal and/or public policy domains.
  • Capability in strategic public policy project management, including planning, tracking, and delivering policy-related workstreams.
  • Proficiency with Excel, including functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to support data-driven policy analysis.
  • Ability to leverage or learn AI-enabled tools to support policy monitoring and analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with policy monitoring tools, databases, or research platforms.
  • Formal training in public policy, law, political science, international relations, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience specifically focused on public policy, regulatory analysis, or government affairs within complex organizations.
  • Experience applying supply chain knowledge in a policy or regulatory context.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional networks to support information gathering and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with transparency reporting frameworks, guidance, and templates.
  • Interest in continuous improvement of analytical tools, workflows, and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and identify relevant political, regulatory, and legislative developments across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Produce high-quality, tailored analysis on policy developments, clearly assessing implications for the business.
  • Support the preparation of briefings, reports, and internal updates for high-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy insights align with commercial and operational priorities.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal monitoring systems, workflows, and analytical tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global policy trends and emerging regulatory and legislative risks.
  • Support transparency reporting workstreams to ensure reporting is accurate and aligned with internal requirements and external frameworks, guidance, and templates.
  • Help leverage AI-enabled tools to identify, track, and synthesize legislative, regulatory, and policy developments across jurisdictions.
  • Use Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to organize, analyze, and present policy and regulatory data.
  • Apply supply chain understanding where relevant to assess policy and regulatory impacts on operations and networks.
  • Build and maintain effective internal networks to gather information, share insights, and support coordinated policy responses.
