About The Position
As a Business Analyst – Healthcare Data Integration you'll support healthcare data integration and interoperability initiatives within the Enterprise Data Office. The role focuses on HL7/FHIR data exchange, regulatory compliance (CMS/ONC), healthcare data analysis, and bridging business and technical teams.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of Business Analysis, Healthcare IT, or Data Integration experience.
- Strong experience with: FHIR HL7 CCD, ADT, SIU Healthcare data exchange
- Strong SQL and Databricks skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and provide business recommendations.
- Experience in a Managed Care/Payer environment.
- Experience with Healthcare domains such as: Claims, Enrollment, Care Management, Utilization Management, Quality/HEDIS, Risk Adjustment, Prior Authorizations.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Work on healthcare interoperability standards such as: FHIR HL7 CCD ADT SIU
- Analyze and validate data using SQL and Databricks.
- Create: Business requirements documents, Data mappings (source-to-target), Business rules, Process flows, Data specifications
- Support testing, QA, and data validation activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with CMS interoperability requirements.
- Provide regular status updates and recommendations to leadership.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts.
- Drive projects independently with minimal supervision.
