About The Position

Norsat International Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team player to support the launch of IPaaS and PLM platforms. Responsibilities include assisting with data integration solutions, testing and troubleshooting, improving workflows, transitioning business processes, managing manufacturing parts data, and ensuring accurate product documentation in the PLM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science or Engineering
  • Prior experience using an ERP system, Power BI in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent MS Office computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Power BI
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player with excellent problem and conflict solving skills; resourceful and proactive
  • Commitment to product quality and delivery deadlines based on cost and time constraints

Responsibilities

  • Support the team with the launch of IPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) and PLM Platform.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Data Integration solution using IPaaS platform.
  • Participate in meeting with project stakeholders to gather requirements and discuss project status updates.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, such as test plans, design documents.
  • Test and troubleshoot data integration solutions to ensure they meet project requirements and are working as expected.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project success.
  • Review current workflows and develop new workflows and work structures.
  • Support the transition of current business processes and systems to IPaaS and PLM.
  • Entering manufacturing parts data related to the procurement and manufacture of product (OEM and Build to Print).
  • Ensure the Product Lifecycle Management system where the controlled (softcopy) documentation for company product design data is vaulted.
  • Improve data quality through developing, maintaining, and enforcing data standards, processes, and procedures. Ensure accurate traceability of product data and change history.
  • Ensure released data are exported into the ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned
