About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. This role supports the Capital Management function within Corporate Treasury as part of the Enterprise Capital Management Technology team. The team is responsible for critical regulations and is undergoing a Technology Transformation to build general capabilities for Data Ingestion, Rules Authoring Execution, and Analytics. This is a greenfield project focused on replacing legacy applications.

Requirements

At least 4+ years' experience as a BA/DA
Good knowledge of SQL programming preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculations (Basel, CRR, CRD IV, etc.)
Attention to detail and self-starter

Nice To Haves

Experience in data mapping
Experience in financial regulatory projects

Responsibilities

Support the Capital Management function within Corporate Treasury.
Contribute to a Technology Transformation Journey to build and adopt general capabilities for Data Ingestion, Rules Authoring Execution, and Analytics.
Design solutions to replace multiple legacy applications.
Identify risks and issues and suggest improvements.
