Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g., program evaluation, data analytics, data science, higher level data-related coursework)
  • 1+ years using SQL to extract, transform and load data
  • Proven aptitude for and facility with change management and care transformation processes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in consultative skills when addressing complex inquiries from clients, vendors, and customers
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10%
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy

  • BI Tools: Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI for reporting
  • Demonstrated solid interpersonal and client service skills
  • Demonstrated to be an analytical thinker with ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, and lead initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize interdependencies of process and how changes impact overall integration efforts

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain projects, business initiatives, and analytical models
  • Support short and long term operational and strategic business activities
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
  • Performs complex conceptual analyses
  • Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
  • Design, execute, and maintain data models and analytics used for forecasting and tracking performance of ACES programs
  • Extract, analyze, and aggregate data from multiple sources and interpret quantitative data to review and guide recommendations
  • Perform data mining and analyses that impact foundational pricing and risk assumptions
  • Communicate the results of your work in a meaningful way to internal stakeholders
  • May lead functional or segment teams or projects
  • Other duties as assigned
