Business Analyst / Change Management Consultant – Life Sciences
About The Position
CTG is seeking a Business Analyst / Change Management Consultant to support a client in the life sciences sector. The position is based in San Francisco, California, with four days onsite per week, and has a six-month duration. The consultant will support business transformation and technology initiatives by gathering requirements, mapping processes, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and helping teams plan and implement organizational change. The role also supports Agile project delivery, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, and post-implementation adoption. The expected base salary is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. CTG states that a competitive benefit package is offered. Salary offers are based on factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in business analysis, change management, or a combined role supporting business transformation or technology implementations.
- Life sciences industry experience and understanding of relevant business processes and operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, developing user stories, mapping processes, and supporting Agile project delivery.
- Experience managing stakeholder communications, coordinating training, and supporting UAT, implementation, and change adoption.
- Strong business analysis, process mapping, requirements documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and Jira.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Technical acumen and ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, develop user stories, and translate business needs into actionable functional requirements.
- Analyze and map current- and future-state business processes to support business transformation and technology initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, and organizational change management activities.
- Develop change adoption plans, communication materials, and training strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on business objectives and implementation priorities.
- Support Agile project delivery, including backlog refinement and collaboration with technical teams.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), track issues, and support resolution.
- Support implementation planning, rollout readiness, and post-implementation adoption.
