About The Position

The Business Analyst 3 position with the Department of Transportation gives you the opportunity to shape the future of major technology systems. Your work helps deliver reliable and effective digital services across Pennsylvania. This position leads analytical and technical support for complex systems within Driver and Vehicle Services. You guide system maintenance, updates, and improvements that help major applications operate effectively.

Requirements

One year as a Business Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Six years of business process analysis experience
Two years of business process analysis experience and a bachelor’s degree
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Meet the PA residency requirement
Able to perform essential job functions
Submission of criminal history reports
Undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment

Responsibilities

Oversee technical and analytical support for complex automated data processing systems
Guide development teams in adapting systems and coordinating application improvements
Direct staff responsible for development and maintenance of numerous applications and interfaces
Prepare status updates and collaborate with internal staff, external partners, and vendors
Facilitate sessions to gather business requirements and document solutions for system updates
Evaluate problems, identify solutions, and support enhancements to business applications
