About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment and technology. As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership. This position serves as a key liaison between IT and Crown business, acting as a proxy Product Owner for stakeholders. The role involves transforming business requirements into technical requirements, offering business thought leadership, and critically evaluating information from multiple sources. The Business Analyst will also provide status reports, deliver necessary documentation, and stay informed of advances in software technologies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required, along with 5 plus years of experience.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with IFS Cloud ERP preferred.
Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Process Owners to transform business requirements into technical requirements.
Offer business thought leadership to improve existing business processes.
Work closely with Programmers to ensure an understanding of business requirements and practices.
Consult with development team to improve usability and recommend program improvements or corrections to development staff.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract low-level information, and distinguish business requests from the underlying true needs.
Provide Management with status reports and project updates as needed.
Communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and timely fashion.
Deliver documentation as needed and/or defined by documentation standards (Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, etc.).
Stay informed of advances and pertinent changes in software technologies.
Act as proxy Product Owner for stakeholders.
