Business Analyst 2
About The Position
The client is seeking two experienced Business Analyst Level 2 professionals to support emerging technology initiatives and application/software development projects. The selected candidates will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather business requirements, analyze processes, document workflows, and support Agile-driven project delivery. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and process documentation. Candidates with experience supporting technology modernization initiatives and Agile environments are highly preferred.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the technology field or related field as a senior-level Business Analyst.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience working with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- 5 years of working knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and practices.
- 2 years of experience in understanding and documenting use cases.
- 2 years of experience in process documentation and process mapping.
- Experience supporting software development or application modernization projects.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and business analysis best practices.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related technology role
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis
- Experience working on application/software development projects
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and technical teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Create and maintain detailed business requirement documents, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support Agile project management methodologies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story development.
- Assist in documenting workflows, process mapping, and system interactions.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions with stakeholders to clarify project objectives and business needs.
- Participate in testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of implemented solutions.
- Ensure project deliverables align with DPS business goals, compliance standards, and operational requirements.
- Support cross-functional teams during implementation, deployment, and post-production support activities.
- Maintain clear communication between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
