About The Position
The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support application development and emerging technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will work with business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, document workflows, and support Agile project delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related technology role
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis
- Experience working on application/software development projects
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience with use case development and process mapping
- Knowledge of workflow and business process documentation
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Create process flows, workflow diagrams, and business documentation
- Develop and maintain use cases and functional requirements
- Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC
- Support Agile ceremonies and project activities
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
