This is a hybrid role based out of either the Chicago, IL or New York, NY office. The Business Analysis Manager - Senior Business Process Consultant will drive the strategy, definition, and design of complex new or upgraded platforms, processes, or projects. This role involves leading others in designing initiatives, identifying tools/technology, and re-engineering processes to improve customer service, productivity, quality, and efficiency. The position serves as an advisor to senior management and maintains relationships with business owners, technical resources, and internal teams, acting as the ‘Voice of the Field’ for process re-engineering and technology initiatives. The role is responsible for the continuous evolution of platform, process, and project strategy to grow revenue, improve operational efficiency, and satisfy business mandates. Key activities include supporting stakeholders in Sales, Service, Fulfillment, Product Management, Finance/Accounting, and technology in creating investment cases and project initiation documents, analyzing project goals, translating objectives into business and system requirements, creating documentation (use cases, process flows, wireframes), determining the impact of new functionality, and ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs. The role also involves providing business leadership throughout development, collaborating on implementation solutions, reviewing and signing off on project documentation, managing project team priorities, monitoring progress against charter, strategy, timelines, budgets, and scope, identifying and mitigating risks, escalating issues, keeping stakeholders informed, and assuming final accountability for initiative success. Additionally, the role facilitates smooth transitions to production, reviews and approves QA documentation, creates and executes user acceptance testing materials, supports user acceptance and beta tests, performs production migration shakeout, documents release notes, facilitates knowledge transition, and monitors post-deployment performance. The role also participates in training initiatives and supports internal teams in utilizing existing tools.
