About The Position

This internship offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to systems analysis, systems design, and project management for both off-the-shelf package solutions and application development projects. Interns will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and the technical architecture team, gaining experience in requirement determination, business case development, and testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Business or MIS majors looking to learn and contribute to systems analysis, systems design and project management for off the shelf package solutions and application development projects.
• Has a working knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with subject matter experts (SMEs) learning a variety of interviewing and facilitation techniques.
• Utilize defined requirements gathering and analysis standards to produce business analysis deliverables.
• Interact with technical architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Provide the development team with Business System subject matter expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Develop business cases in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
