We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Business Administrator based out of our Mount Uniacke, NS location.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to Operations ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Answer and direct phone calls, greet suppliers, customers & contractors
  • Enter payroll, process expenses, record and track employee allowances.
  • Issue purchase orders, receive, voucher and scan invoices and maintain files.
  • Record keeping, file management, data entry, database management, note taking, development of materials, researching
  • Perform physical maintenance tasks to plan and update maintenance logs.
  • Scheduling service providers and arranging service for office equipment and vehicles.
  • Safety board updates, assist with fulfillment of safety actions, maintain SDS database
  • Inspect and prepare documents and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Schedule training for employees and maintain training records.
  • Make travel arrangements for all departments.
  • Upload charges for all US bank cards, code and forward monthly statements
  • Process customer credit card payments, oversee petty cash expenses and maintain float.
  • Order and maintain stationery/office supplies. Pick up mail and lunchroom supplies.
  • Support any other task requested and required for management of the business.
