About The Position

Responsible for providing quality workmanship on the assembly and testing of various check valve and related product components while maintaining high standards of production, documentation, and safety.

Requirements

  • Related assembly and warehouse experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Computer skills an asset.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Good communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented, strong work ethic and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, stamp and test valve components in accordance with production order requirements.
  • Hydrostatic body and seat testing and low-pressure air seat testing of finished valves.
  • Ensure painting operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
  • Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking.
  • Follow all work order, process traveler requirements and instructions, fill out job sheets or record time within SAP.
  • Record information as required for tracking and traceability of finished product and component.
  • Report all machine, forklift, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Lead Hand/Supervisor of a downtime situation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
