Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the full range of business activities within the College.
  • Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
  • Long-term project and event planning, building management, purchasing, and contracts.
  • Compiles reports, maintains records and other documents, and coordinates special events.
  • Plans and coordinates logistical and administrative support for events, meetings or other special functions and provides on-site support.
  • Completes yearly inventory.
  • Manages College and Department contracts in AggieBuy.
  • Oversees building management needs for the College of Business.
  • Plans and prepares reports, manuals, and publications.
  • Researches, compiles, and applies information, making evaluative judgments on appropriate data to use.
  • Analyzes requirements for projects or initiatives.
  • Process and procedure development and oversight, travel and committee planning, Tenure and Promotion, data gathering, organization, and reporting.
  • Prepares travel arrangements and itineraries and may approve and process travel reimbursements.
  • Evaluates documents submitted for administrator's signature.
  • Office Manager, staff supervisor, calendar management, HR Contact, website management, inventory.
  • Provides support for long-range planning and scheduling activities.
  • Provides direct support to high-level administrators.
  • Drafts and manages correspondence and communications, schedules appointments, manages calendars, and coordinates travel.
  • Provides expert advice to Management.
  • Formulates, Interprets, and implements policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Acts as administrator's representative in dealing with third parties.
  • Coordinates and monitors action items and assignments made by the administration.
  • Oversees supervisory duties for College staff members.
  • Manages the College of Business website.
  • HR Contact for hiring.
