Harvest Operations is currently recruiting a Business Administrator, A&D, reporting to the VP, Strategy and A&D/Manager, A&D. The Business Administrator is a junior to intermediate support position, responsible for creating, editing, and terminating cloud-based projects and receiving, recording, organizing and storing numerous confidentiality agreements. Other support duties for both the A&D group, as required. This is a temporary, full-time position based out of the Calgary Corporate Office.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with certification in petroleum land, data management or other oil and gas certificates
  • Strong data management experience
  • Knowledge of industry land practices and procedures
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn interaction of industry departments within a company and data collection from various departments for A&D/business development purposes
  • Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, SharePoint
  • Applications CS Explorer (incl. CS Projects), Qbyte, Optix, AbaData and Accumap applications
  • Exposure to regulatory systems (ETS, OneStop, Kermit etc)
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Willingness to grow and learn new responsibilities within the A&D team
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and prioritize competing demands with short deadlines
  • Effective problem solving and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to physically move files, pack, and organize transactions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to be able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Managing Virtual Data Room (VDR) for disposition projects, including SharePoint and DataSite
  • Managing Confidentiality Agreements related to dispositions
  • Creation of Maps (Accumap) for A&D and other Business Development purposes
  • Coordinator/Administrator of specific projects within company
  • Assist in preparation of closing documents, as needed
  • Coordinate/assist in internal report preparation
  • Assist/coordinate electronic transfers in regulatory systems
  • Assist in physical/electronic records for A&D purposes.
  • Other duties/projects may apply, as required.
