About The Position

Metronet, a fast-growing fiber-optic company, is partnering with T-Mobile to offer high-speed fiber internet and T-Mobile's mobile and wireless solutions. This role is for a results-driven Account Executive on the Business Sales team, responsible for owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and expanding Metronet's footprint. The Account Executive will be the primary contact for new customers, delivering tailored solutions and experiences. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive on challenges, enjoy closing deals, and are eager for rapid career growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to be in-market Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions using Metronet's offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through contract execution and customer onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to analyze data, prioritize leads, and make informed sales decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and deal progress in Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and high customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and activity benchmarks in a competitive market.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review performance and set goals.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform strategy and enhance team performance.
  • Contribute to a positive company culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
