About The Position

Metronet is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join its Business Sales team. This role is responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and plays a key part in expanding the company's footprint. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact for new business customers, providing tailored solutions and ensuring positive experiences. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, a passion for performance, and a desire for career growth within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and deliver solutions aligned with Metronet's offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution and onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to inform sales strategies, prioritize opportunities, and make informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and deal progression in Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and activity benchmarks.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review performance and align on goals.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to contribute to strategy development.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
