Metronet is seeking a fearless, results-driven Account Executive to join their Business Sales team. This frontline sales role involves owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and expanding the company's footprint. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact for new customers, delivering tailored solutions and exceptional experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required; travel may be necessary depending on the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions aligned with Metronet's offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution and customer onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to analyze data, prioritize leads, and make informed sales decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and deal progression in Salesforce.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service implementation and sustained customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and activity benchmarks in a competitive market.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review performance and set goals.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform strategy and contribute to team success.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
