About The Position

Metronet is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join their Business Sales team. This role is responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and plays a key part in expanding the company's footprint. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact for new customers, providing tailored solutions and ensuring positive experiences. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, a passion for performance, and a desire for career growth within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to be in-market Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions using Metronet's offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through contract execution and customer onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to analyze data, prioritize leads, and make informed sales decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and deal progression in Salesforce.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and activity benchmarks in a competitive market.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review performance and set goals.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to contribute to strategy development and team success.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
