About The Position

Metronet is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join their Business Sales team. This is a frontline sales role responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and expanding the company's footprint. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact for new customers, providing tailored solutions and exceptional experiences. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, a passion for performance, and a desire for career growth within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Candidate must be able to be in-market Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and propose solutions aligned with Metronet's offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution and onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools for data analysis, opportunity prioritization, and informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and deal progression in Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and high customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and activity benchmarks in a competitive market.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review performance and set goals.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence strategy and team success.
  • Contribute to a positive company culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
