The role aligns demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity, material availability, and business objectives, and supports both new product introduction (NPI) ramps and high-volume manufacturing (HVM). • Coordinate alignment among Product Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, TPMs, and MPMs.
  • Own demand forecasting processes and governance; partner with Business Units, Product Managers, and Finance on short-, medium-, and long-range forecasts.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and establish corrective actions to improve forecast reliability.
  • Analyze demand signals and trends and conduct scenario planning to support revenue commitments.
  • Develop and execute material strategies for NPI ramps and HVM production, translating S&OP outputs into material plans across suppliers and manufacturing sites.
  • Establish inventory strategies, including safety stock, run-rate planning, PACE and DASH execution models, strategic buffer management, and long lead-time material planning.
  • Ensure material readiness for product launches, production ramps, and revenue-critical builds.
  • Develop overplan strategies with TPMs, MPMs, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to mitigate forecast uncertainty and protect revenue.
  • Evaluate capacity, supply constraints, and inventory impacts related to overplanning; lead scenario modeling and recommendations for executive decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across critical components and suppliers.
  • Optimize inventory investment while maintaining customer delivery commitments; monitor material health, excess and obsolete inventory, and supply continuity risks.
  • Lead recovery plans for shortages, supplier constraints, allocation challenges, and demand volatility; develop contingency plans for critical commodities and long-lead materials.
  • Serve as the primary interface across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, TPMs, and Business teams.
  • Drive program-level material readiness reviews and align teams on build schedules and shipment commitments.
  • Establish metrics and dashboards to support proactive decisions and performance management.
