About The Position

Coordinate Supply Chain initiatives for assigned facilities, partnering with clinical and non-clinical professionals and all levels of entity leadership. Serve as a liaison between site leadership and sales representatives by facilitating strategic discussions and product and equipment investigations and evaluations. Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors to address policies, product needs, product research, and contract verification before purchases. Collaborate with Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing and STARS teams on product substitutions and conversions, and support customer requests for new products. Coordinate setup and education for new facilities, facility moves, and changes in PeopleSoft, and educate customers to support compliance with Piedmont Healthcare policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university, or equivalent experience of four years beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Two years of responsible work experience involving purchasing activities or a closely related field.
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, six years of experience involving purchasing or supply chain activities.
