About The Position

The Bus Person is responsible for proper stocking and maintaining the outlet side stations with necessary supplies; and clearing, setting tables in designated station. This role involves performing customer service duties as assigned, communicating with hosts/hostesses, and performing various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies. The position requires compliance with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations. Additionally, the Bus Person will attend periodic meetings and training sessions, promote positive public and employee relations, and present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Three (3) years’ related work experience.
  • Ability to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Proper stocking and maintaining the outlet side stations with necessary supplies.
  • Clearing and setting tables in designated station.
  • Familiarize with service standards for the restaurant, especially table setups, beverage service and pre-busing of tables.
  • Clean and reset tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines.
  • Stock service stations, glasses, cups, silverware, etc.
  • Clean restaurant, floors, carpet, service stations, etc.
  • Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats and floor.
  • Perform customer service duties as assigned (such as beverage and plate service).
  • Communicate with host/hostess for seating needs and any guest service issues.
  • Perform various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies.
  • Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
  • Promote positive public and employee relations.
  • Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
