About The Position
We are currently taking applications to fill our open position for Bus Person for one of the longest running Mexican Restaurants in the the Las Vegas valley. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Doña Maria’s Mexican Restaurant is known for their famous tamales, authentic Mexican food and Margaritas. Doña Maria’s was voted Las Vegas Review Journal’s pick for “Best of Las Vegas” Mexican restaurant for 2010. We are always receiving applications to have new family members join our team. We say family members because we are a big and thriving family actively looking for new individuals to join us!
Requirements
- Southern Nevada Food Safety Card
- 1 year experience
- Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
- Mobility required during the entire shift.
- Transports and carries objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds and up to 15 times a shift.
- Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.

Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
- Take drink orders, clearing plates in timely manner, cleaning and set up tables.
- Answer customers' questions and get a manager if answer doesn't solve the issue.
- Maintaining a clean workspace.
