About The Position

Applied Materials is hiring for a business management role at its Santa Clara, California location. The role serves as an interface between sales and the business unit for multiple customers and/or regions, carries out division strategy for assigned accounts, and positions division products to meet customer specifications and product capabilities. It also manages specification responses, pricing recommendations, demonstrations, account and division financial contributions, forecasts, and evaluation-tool milestones. The role requires practical expertise in its discipline, judgment in solving complex problems, collaboration across teams, and the ability to build consensus.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Interface between Sales and the business unit for multiple customers and/or regions.
Carry out division strategy for assigned accounts to achieve specific market-share goals and submit ideas for product Single Page Strategy.
Position division products within assigned accounts in line with customer specifications and product technical capabilities.
Own purchase and configuration specification responses and ensure closure of hardware and process specifications (RFQs).
Gather data, recommend product pricing structures, and partner with Sales to close orders.
Qualify, schedule, and coordinate demonstrations, visits, and source inspections.
Contribute to account- and division-level financial targets, book/bill commitments, and forecasts.
Program-manage account and division efforts and set and drive evaluation-tool milestones.
