About The Position
Drives 44 seat passenger bus to transport military passengers over specified routes to local points according to time schedule. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Complies with local traffic regulations, and reports delays or accidents to transportation motor pool (TMP).
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- No minimum years of bus driving experience.
- Valid and current medical card or insurance equivalent.
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
- Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
- Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Checks gas, oil, and water while inspecting bus before and after transporting Soldiers.
- May drive diesel powered buses to transport passengers over established on-post routes.
- Performs preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) before, during, and after transportation missions.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.
- Other duties as assigned.
