About The Position

Hess Services is seeking a dependable Part-Time Bus Driver to transport inmate workers safely between the correctional facility and designated job sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, values safety, and will follow policies and procedures. The potential schedule includes hours that may vary between 4:30 am to 7:00 am and 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, with approximately 11-25 hours per week and potential opportunity for more.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with Passenger (P) Endorsement.
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• We are willing to train the right candidate and assist with obtaining a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement. Conditions apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport inmates to and from the correctional facility and work locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while working with correctional staff and inmates.
• Report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Clean/Wash the bus.
• Other duties may be assigned.
