About The Position
This is a Bus Driver position for the 2026-2027 school year at Hazel Park Schools, following the A.F.S.C.M.E. Master Agreement. The role involves the transportation of students safely and efficiently to and from school, as well as to other related events or activities. Requirements
- Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Must pass pre-employment background checks and annual physical exam without restrictions per Michigan transportation rules and regulations and Federally mandated random drug and alcohol testing per district policy
- Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license
- High level of competence in English language skills
- Ability to work and maintain good rapport with co-workers and the community
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Possess a good attendance record
- Must have an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Prefer applicant to have a current CDL-BPS Certification, however, willing to train
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications, as may be found appropriate and acceptable
- Other qualifications are also considered in the final selection of a person to fill this position.
