About The Position

JP Logistics & Consulting, LLC (JPLC) is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to support the EAGLE contract at Fort Gordon, Georgia, in Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation. Under direct supervision, the driver assigns and dispatches motor vehicles and drivers to fulfill requests to move passengers and/or freight. The position's start date, salary, and hours of operation are listed as TBD. Specific positions may require rotating shifts.

Requirements

• Two years of driving experience, including at least one year driving buses with a seating capacity of more than 25 passengers.
• A safe driving record.
• A valid Georgia or South Carolina Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a “P” endorsement.
• Possess or be able to obtain a military driver's license within 15 days for the size and type of vehicle to be operated.
• Be medically qualified in accordance with company and government regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent. An equivalent may be a GED or three years of work experience demonstrating the ability to write, read, and comprehend written instructional documents, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passengers and accompanying baggage are properly loaded and secured, and that the vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity.
• Complete driver commitment records, dispatch documentation, and preventive maintenance service records.
• Perform driver maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations.
• Drive other sizes and types of vehicles for which properly trained and licensed when required by workload.
• Perform other related duties as required.
