Requirements
- Class C (or higher) CDL with a passenger endorsement.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Knowledge of road rules and regulations.
- Ability to communicate courteously and professionally.
- Proficiency with two-way radios and tablets.
- Ability to operate 9-23 passenger buses safely, including using wheelchair lifts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely according to schedules and assignments.
- Make quick, sound decisions based on traffic and road conditions.
- Follow schedule established on manifest.
- Work with staff to organize routes and events.
- Follow all driving policies and procedures.
- Complete pre- and post-trip bus inspections.
- Communicate policies and handle fare collection.
- Assist passengers professionally and tactfully.
