About The Position
Join our team supporting student transportation for local after-school programs. As a Bus Aide, you'll assist students while riding along with a driver to help ensure every trip is safe, caring, and dependable. Some routes support students with special needs, including autism programs.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working with children
- Able to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and required clearances
Nice To Haves
- No driving required.
- No transportation experience required.
- Training provided.
Responsibilities
- Assisting students as they board and exit the vehicle
- Monitoring student safety during transportation
- Supporting the driver in maintaining a safe environment
- Performing child checks after routes
- Communicating with students, drivers, and school staff
