About The Position

Bumper Assembly Workers perform hands-on assembly of automotive bumper components in a fast-paced production environment in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The position uses power drills, hand tools, clips, fasteners, wiring, and other hardware to prepare finished bumper assemblies. It is a first-shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required depending on production demand. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour and increases to $17.00 per hour after 90 days.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble automotive bumper components on the production line.
• Attach clips, bolts, screws, wiring, and additional hardware.
• Operate power drills and basic hand tools throughout the assembly process.
• Check finished assemblies for proper fit, placement, and quality.
• Follow work instructions, safety standards, and production procedures.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and ready for production.
• Maintain expected production pace and quality standards.
• Assist with other manufacturing or assembly tasks when needed.
