About The Position

The Bumper Assembly Worker performs hands-on assembly of automotive bumper components in a fast-paced production environment in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Team members use power drills, hand tools, clips, fasteners, wiring, and other hardware to prepare finished bumper assemblies for production. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required depending on production demand. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour and increases to $17.00 per hour after 90 days.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a national background check.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Previous manufacturing or automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble automotive bumper components on the production line.
• Attach clips, bolts, screws, wiring, and additional hardware.
• Operate power drills and basic hand tools throughout the assembly process.
• Check finished assemblies for proper fit, placement, and quality.
• Follow work instructions, safety standards, and production procedures.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and ready for production.
• Maintain expected production pace and quality standards.
• Assist with other manufacturing or assembly tasks when needed.
