About The Position
Owens Corning Doors is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Production Assembler for its Doors team in Pittsburg, Kansas. The role assembles door units in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, stoop, and push.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work at a fast pace with multiple components.
- Safety-focused approach to work.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble all types of steel door units according to customer specifications.
- Read and interpret production tickets accurately.
- Verify material quality, accuracy, and count with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
