About The Position

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking Bulldozer Operators to join its dirt and utility crews. Operators work at various jobsites and operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and motor graders. The role also involves equipment upkeep, reporting deficiencies, and performing manual labor related to project needs. Employees are expected to follow the company’s health and safety policies and maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers. This is a full-time, year-round position. Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required. The base hourly pay range is $22.00–$35.00; compensation may vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. A pre-employment physical and drug screening are required.

Requirements

Experience operating heavy equipment; an onsite try-out will be conducted.
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

GPS/UTS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and motor graders.
Perform general equipment maintenance, including greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning tracks.
Clean equipment daily.
Report equipment deficiencies to the Foreman immediately.
Perform manual labor related to supporting projects.
Meet the company’s health and safety culture, policies, and requirements.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.
