Bulk Plant Technician for Hobbs, NM
About The Position
The Bulk Plant Technician ensures chemicals and other materials are blended accurately and processed in appropriate amounts. The role champions the company’s H.S.E.&T. program to provide quality service safely and efficiently. The technician drives specialized company equipment to load chemical products, positions equipment for loading and unloading, blends and prepares chemicals for loading according to established procedures, prepares loading paperwork for transport, and weighs trucks under the guidance of the supervisor or Bulk Plant Manager. The position may also involve general labor and other duties assigned by supervisory personnel. This role performs safety-sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
Responsibilities
- Ensure chemicals and other materials are blended accurately and processed in appropriate amounts.
- Champion the company’s H.S.E.&T. program in work performed to provide quality service safely and efficiently.
- Drive specialized company equipment for loading chemical products.
- Spot equipment into position for loading and unloading according to company safety standards.
- Blend and prepare chemicals for loading according to established procedures.
- Prepare loading paperwork for transport.
- Weigh trucks under the guidance of the supervisor or Bulk Plant Manager.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisory personnel, including general labor as necessary.
