Bulk Plant Technician for Hobbs, NM
About The Position
The Bulk Plant Technician is responsible for accurately blending and preparing chemicals and other materials in appropriate amounts, and for supporting safe, efficient chemical loading and unloading operations. The role drives specialized company equipment, positions equipment for loading and unloading in accordance with company safety standards, prepares transport paperwork, and weighs trucks under the guidance of a supervisor or Bulk Plant Manager. The technician also performs general labor and other duties assigned by supervisory personnel. This position performs safety-sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
Requirements
- Ability to perform safety-sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
Responsibilities
- Ensure chemicals and other materials are accurately blended and processed in appropriate amounts.
- Champion the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all work to provide quality service safely and efficiently.
- Drive specialized company equipment for loading chemical products.
- Position equipment for loading and unloading according to company safety standards.
- Blend and prepare chemicals for loading according to established procedures.
- Prepare loading paperwork for transport.
- Weigh trucks under the guidance of the supervisor or Bulk Plant Manager.
- Perform duties assigned by supervisory personnel, including general labor as necessary.
