Requirements

  • Basic Carpentry performs incidental carpentry, masonry, painting and plasterwork
  • Basic Mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in manufacturing facility maintenance is desirable.
  • Six (6) or more year’s related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support facility maintenance operations as part of a team.
  • Assist in all activities and duties.
  • Complete preventive maintenance on mobile equipment, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, dock levelers and other mechanical systems.
  • Helps perform general equipment maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and repair, service call work involving electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems; performs incidental carpentry, masonry, painting and plasterwork.
  • Completes logs and performs other documentation necessary to the tasks performed, maintain, organize, control, inventory supplies, tools and equipment, performs incidental carpentry, masonry, painting and plasterwork.
  • Assists with inspections and tours of the facilities, providing preventive maintenance services in accordance with a well-defined program; institutes corrective action on any deficiencies.
  • Assists with performing emergency service and repairs on, mechanical and structural systems and equipment as necessary to satisfy service requests and to maintain the equipment as listed on the building equipment inventory in proper operating condition.
  • Assists in maintaining and making repairs on utilities systems and equipment.
  • Performs minor carpentry, masonry, and metalworking repairs, installation and maintenance activities.
  • Assists entire team in all activities and duties assigned, installs or assists in installing and/or replacing various types of equipment, structures and subassemblies including lubrication and cleaning.
