About The Position

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs, inspections, supporting equipment installations and modifications, tracking work orders, and helping ensure building systems operate efficiently. You will follow established procedures and processes, work under close supervision and guidance, and communicate straightforward information clearly and concisely.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma and 1–2 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills sufficient to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and use available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Complete assigned duties, methods, and tasks under close supervision and guidance.
