About The Position

This is a 12-month, non-exempt position for a Building Service Worker. The role involves comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of both the interior and exterior of a building and its grounds. Key duties include floor care, refuse collection, dusting and cleaning various surfaces and equipment, and assisting with the receipt and relocation of supplies. The position requires regular on-time attendance and the ability to perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Operations or the School/Building Principal. The salary range is from $33,987 to $60,362, determined by years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor.
• Good verbal communications and human relations skills.
• A willingness to work overtime as required in cases of emergency.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and cares for floors.
• Collects refuse both inside and outside the building.
• Dusts and cleans walls, windows, ceilings, and equipment.
• Cares for the exterior of the building and grounds.
• Assists in the receipt and relocation of supplies and equipment.
• Regular on-time attendance.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Operations or the School/Building Principal.
