About The Position

ReDiscover is seeking a Building Safety Monitor to join its Safety & Security Department, which helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and guests while supporting compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role supports safety plans across ReDiscover locations and special events, and includes greeting people entering facilities, monitoring buildings and surrounding areas, and responding to emergencies. The position is stationary, with a regular schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Candidates must be available for rotating weekends and holidays as needed, work at different locations, and occasionally accommodate varying shifts based on staffing and operational needs. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least two years of relevant security experience.
• Consistent and regular attendance.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with digital control systems and a variety of building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and monitor all persons entering and leaving ReDiscover facilities.
• Monitor building camera systems as needed.
• Monitor external walkways, parking lots, lobbies, entryways, internal hallways, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
• Assist with developing and implementing safety plans for various locations and special events.
• Respond to 911 calls, notify appropriate ReDiscover personnel of emergency situations, and communicate with emergency response agencies as appropriate.
• Maintain reliable attendance by working scheduled shifts and notifying the Safety & Security Team Leader as soon as possible of anticipated or unexpected absences.
• Support Building Safety operations across multiple ReDiscover locations to ensure continuous, high-quality service.
• Remain flexible to work at different locations and occasional varying shifts based on staffing and operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Safety & Security Team Leader, in collaboration with the Director of Physical Infrastructure.
